Ben Jackson:
Proven Leadership for the North Bronx
Ben Jackson is a dad, husband, and long-time Democratic Party volunteer who currently serves as a Democratic Party District Leader for New York’s 81st Assembly District. This district encompasses the North Bronx neighborhoods of Riverdale, Kingsbridge, Kingsbridge Heights, Marble Hill, Van Cortlandt Village, Norwood, Woodlawn, and Wakefield.
By day, Ben is a partner at Cohen Milstein, a plaintiffs’ law firm known for its support for progressive causes and lawsuits on behalf of Democratic members of Congress. Ben works on behalf of unions, pension funds, and retirement systems to hold big corporations and their corporate executives accountable when they commit fraud and misconduct and put people’s retirement savings at risk.
Ben is currently focused on working with our Democratic elected officials to get results for the North Bronx.
Outside of his professional life, Ben has been a steadfast volunteer for Democratic Party campaigns for over 20 years. In 2016, he ran the Party’s nationwide system of voter assistance and voter protection hotlines, working out of Clinton campaign headquarters. He also served on the Party’s national voter protection team in 2020. The programs he has built and led have empowered over 70,000 people across America to get to the polls and protect their right to vote.
Ben lives in Riverdale with his wife, Anna, a Bronx native, and their two small children. His deep roots in New York and commitment to public service continue to drive his work in advocating for a fairer and more just society.
